OUR STORY

Taking part at Eco Challenge Borneo 2000 exposed us to the sport of Adventure racing. We fell in love with the sport and raced competively for the next 10 years. In 2010 we started organising adventure races in South Africa.

Expedition Africa comprises a series of adventure races comprising of an annual 25 km series and a 120 km series. Our flagship event is the Expedition Africa Expedition race.

Over the last decade we have organised more than 60 events of 25 km, 40 events of 120 – 250 km and 12 multi-day Expedition races.

To grow the sport of adventure racing we have hosted numerours regional and national school adventure races including the South African School Championship.

We have ventured past our country borders, visiting Swaziland, Lseotho , the island of Rodrigues and as far north as India.

The Inaugural Expedition India was hosted in Sep 2017 in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. Expedition India 2019 was hosted in Himachal Pradesh.

We strive for excellence and hope to create many more adventures in the future!
